Research

Modeling and simulation are an indispensable part of today’s modern engineering practice. At Ozyegin University we develop application specific numerical tools, approaches, algorithms and apply them to the design, analysis, and optimization of industrial processes and machinery. Parallel processing is a key element in modern computational science and engineering. Thus, developing algorithms that can harness the computational power of the modern multi- and many core hardware architectures and implementing them with the right programming models is at the core of our research as well.

Current active projects :

Wind comfort assessment of the Ozyegin University Campus conducted in collaboration with the Architecture Department – funded as a Tubitak 1001 project / PI : Assoc. Prof. Ozgur Gocer (Ozyegin University Architecture Department)
