Ólafur Arnalds played at the Salon IKSV on Friday, February 11, 2010. It was a great concert. This was the first time where I attended a seated concert at the Salon – for Ólli’s music this was very appropriate. He has a musical style that is cross between classical and electronic – real down-beat and sad, but not depressing at all. His music really moves you and takes you away – you find yourself thinking about life, relationships….What a talented guy – and considering his young age, here’s to hoping that he will get even better with time.
