M. Oguz Sunay is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Özyeğin University, Istanbul, Turkey since 2009. He was a Research Engineer at Nokia Research Center, USA between 1996-1998, a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, USA between 1998-2001 and a faculty member at Koç University, Turkey between 2001-2009. We have started working on a new QoS-aware mesh-based home network architecture for AirTies. The project will focus on an IEEE 802.11n air interface and will develop a novel control-plane for the mesh network for QoS guarantees. Novel routing algorithms for this purpose will also be developed.
