Prof. Sunay has attended the last IETF meeting in Maastricht on behalf of Turk Telekom and Ozyegin University on July 25-30, 2010. IETF has a significant number of working groups on peer-to-peer technologies: p2psip, alto, ledbat, ppsp, and p2prg. With the exception of ledbat, all of these groups have met in Maastricht. We have a number of new industrial research grants in the laboratory. Topics range from multimedia transmission over the Internet via P2P links to wireless resource allocation and interference management in 3G/LTE wireless networks where femtocells are utilized.
