SAM Group Recruiting new graduate students/researchers!!

Eco_GeoPrint (SEA-EU JFS 2023 project)- Developing one-part geopolymer mortars using furnace ash from stone (rock) wool production and other industrial by-products, and producing structural prototypes via 3D printing. 

**Position Available:** One M.Sc. Student

**Duration of Scholarship:** Two years

🔬 Responsibilities:
• Geopolymer mix design & fresh/hardened property testing (flow/rheology, compressive & flexural strength)
• Characterization: XRD/XRF, TGA/DTG, SEM-EDS, FTIR; data analysis (DoE, regression/ML)
• 3D printing applications; mechanical & durability testing

🎓 Qualifications:
• BSc. in Civil Engineering; min. 2.70/4.00 GPA (3.00+ preferred)

CO2Cycle-Valorization of construction demolition waste in cement-based materials through enforced carbonation

**Position Available:** One P.hD. or  M.Sc. Student

**Duration of Scholarship:** 2.5 years

🔬 Responsibilities:
• Concrete mix design & fresh/hardened property testing (flow/rheology, compressive & flexural strength)
• Advanced Material Characterization: XRD/XRF, TGA/DTG, SEM-EDS, FTIR; data analysis (DoE, regression/ML)
• Statistical modeling

• MSc/PhD in Civil Engineering or related fields; min. 2.70/4.00 GPA (3.00+ preferred)

• Additional Req. for PhD applicants: DoE/statistics (Python/Matlab), proficiency in characterization methods
