Our three new projects have been recently awarded by the UK Royal Academy of Engineering. These projects will help to support disaster resilience studies on communities !

This project will develop the trial application of citizen-science in relation to disasters by collecting data through social media and other channels. In this research, a low-carbon construction system will be tested as a pilot for a larger project. This system which is an alternative to conventional earthquake-proof construction, encompasses structural resilience against earthquakes, and sustainable waste management.
