Starting in Fall 2018, two students Yasamin Moaiyedfar (MS, 2020) and Hasan Numan Olmez (MS, 2020) joined Dr. Deniz’s research group to pursue their MS degree in Structural Engineering at Ozyegin University. Under Dr. Deniz’s supervision, Yasamin is currently working on detailed FE models and analyses of structural masonry and concrete walls subjected to flood actions. Hasan is investigating performance and loss assessment of building structures under both flood and earthquake loads. Yasamin and Hasan: Welcome to Dr. Deniz’s Research Group!
