Dr. Emre Toprak, a senior structural engineer at ARUP’s Istanbul office, visited our research group at Ozyegin University and gave a seminar for our graduate course CE547- Structural Reliability (taught by Dr. Deniz in Fall 2019). The seminar was an informative talk about hazard risk and resilience assessment methods (FEMA P-58 methodology and REDI rating system), with a seminar title “Resilience-based Earthquake Design and Risk Assessment”.
